Just another art blog

{August 20, 2008}   sky is the limit.

painting is something i really like to do. however, i can never seem to grab hold of the skills of painting, be it water colour painting, postel paint, arcylic or whatever. i always ask myself what kind of painter am i? a question i hardly can i answer. through imitating great artists’ works may help us improve our skills of painting. i cannot deny that. by have you ever tried painting the sky? the exact same sky you see. not just what you think a sky should look like. well, i tried. but i am far from success.

looking up into the sky. why does the sky look so properly blend into soothing colours, yet at the same time, mixed with complementary colours and weirdly shaped clouds that make it a masterpiece of an impressionist?

the sky itself is blend while the clouds is iin blobs. if i am able to draw like what nature can, i am sure that i can paint much better drawings. unfortunately, my standard is yet there.

sky has always been my love, its beauty, is beyond whatever is beyond the sky. cone one day. i would like to take a trip to greenland and view is beauty with the company of aurora.
